BedWatch has launched an exciting new platform that empowers support service staff and clinical teams.
BedWatch Admit Control features a “Bed Placements by Hour” report, which allows all Admit Control users within a hospital or system to access accurate data around daily patient placement activity, hour by hour.
BedWatch provides increased visibility in a variety of ways. In this post, we’ll explore how BedWatch helps improve patient flow and hospital visibility into pending patient moves, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
BedWatch Transport Control users now have access to an expanded “Transports by Transporter” report. The updated report allows for units to be expanded and collapsed for easier viewing. Notice the “Expand” buttons next to each patient transporter’s name, in the column on the left.
ED throughput is a chronic source of delays and headaches for many hospitals.
BedWatch Bed Control administrative users now have the ability to flag specific units within the hospital as “Temporary Units.” This ensures patient movements to and from these temporary units will not automatically trigger discharge clean requests to housekeeping.
BedWatch Bed Control, BedWatch Transport Control, and BedWatch Admit Control feature customizable escalation notifications, which can be configured to meet the needs of each individual hospital partner, in order to minimize delays and ensure processes move forward as efficiently as possible.
