BedWatch Bed Control features a new Housekeeping App, which allows EVS staff to use handhelds and smartphones, in addition to pagers and landline phones, to communicate with BedWatch Bed Control.
The Housekeeping App is designed to provide each individual housekeeping team member with the ability to receive new assignments and update bed status information as they move through the hospital, instead of being tied to in-room phones, dated pager systems, or returning to the EVS office after each discharge clean.
BedWatch Bed Control helps housekeeping managers and staff alike better manage bed turnover and the patient discharge cleaning process, in order to significantly reduce unnecessary downtime and delays, and to increase the overall efficiency of patient flow.
The new Housekeeping App is the latest feature launched by our Product Development Team, which rolls out new features and updates to all BedWatch products on a three-week, agile development cycle.
