This 250+ bed hospital in Eastern Mississippi has used BedWatch® Bed Control and Transport Control, as well as Patient Transport Services management via BedWatch parent company HHS, to successfully streamline their throughput and discharge processes. The dedicated nursing, housekeeping, and transportation teams have used BedWatch to drive average bed turnover times down from 96 minutes upon implementation in February 2012, to an average of 76 minutes per discharge clean for all of 2013 — a 20% improvement over the previous year.
